Strikeforce Challengers: Bowling vs. Voelker III will be organised by Strikeforce and is the 17th episode to be held on July 22 this year. This will be hosted by the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada and will see the two cards, a preliminary card and the televised card.

In the Welterweight fight, Roger Bowling will take on Bobby Voelker in a battle between the experienced and the inexperienced. Bowling has a 9-1 record while Voelker goes in with a 23-8 record. At 31, Voelker is the older of the two and could go in as the favourite.

In some of the other fights, there will be a Heavyweight battle between Devin Cole and Lavar Johnson, while the Light Heavyweight bout will see Joe Cason take on Ovince St. Preux.

The Women’s (135 lbs) fight will see Liz Carmouche taking of Sarah Kaufman while the Middleweight bout will have Ronald Stallings taking on Adlan Amagov.

In what will be the Preliminary card events, leading up to the televised card, there will be a Light Heavyweight bout between Carlos Augusto Inocente Filho and Lionel Lanham, a Middleweight fight between Louis Taylor and Ben Lagman, while a Lightweight battle between Maka Watson and Bill Cooper.
